Kayla Burton
was absolutely outstanding this past quarter in the Newsletter
class. She displayed leadership skills beyond her age. The Holiday
issue of the Eye of the Cougar was behind schedule and it was
appearing as though we would not make our deadline. Kayla came in
on a Saturday and worked several hours to finish the document and
get it printed. I was very impressed with her drive and
determination. Kayla enjoys sports, especially soccer. She is an
aspiring photographer. Like most girls her age she enjoys shopping
with friends. |

Zoya Stoican
performed at the highest level in my 6th grade computer class last
quarter. Her work was consistently of the highest caliber. Her
positive attitude and pleasant demeanor led students to seek her
help when struggling with the various projects. She was always
willing to provided this much needed help. Ms. Barton who subs for
me when I'm with my wife found Zoya to be very helpful, as well.
Zoya enjoys the music of Ashley Tisdale, drawing and painting, and
making movies with her sisters. |

Gavyn Rutz
took over the number one spot in my 6th grade math class just as the
first semester ended. This #1 ranking is not the real reason I
chose him as a top cougar. Gavyn comes to class every day with a
genuine desire to learn. He comes prepared and takes pride in his
work. I really love the way Gavyn participates in class activities.
I think being #1 was a goal he set for himself and then went out and
accomplished it. Good job! Gavyn has been involved in Karate for
three years and loves the Great American Pastime, also. |
